IN-Season SS23: Vegetables and Barbie Dolls?

Hear me out, I think this project has legs, even if they are plastic.

I love puns. I love making pictures. What if I could take photographs that are like visual puns?

I took the idea of London Fashion Week — picture-perfect models, imaginative avant-garde outfits, glamour, glitz, the whole thing — and I thought, how can I poke a bit of fun at this?

So, I present to you the new collection by Pacci (that’s me if your pun brain hasn’t woken up yet). Feast your eyes on these!

This project was conceived and photographed by me, with styling assistance by Felicity Souter.

A whimsical photograph of a plastic doll wearing a dress and shoes made from broccoli

Becky wears green dress and matching shoes by Burberroccoli.

Audrey models this 60s inspired number from Louis Vuittaubergine, with matching clutch, which she styles with turnip wedges and hairband.

Clint poses here with a bespoke tailored jacket in savoy cabbage leather, over carrot-cut trousers. The designer unites the materials with a pair of casual sandals. Both Alexander McQarrot.

Pat effortlessly turns heads in this elegant Parsley number from the new couture range from Herbès.

Polly looking spicy in this bold outfit from Dolce and Gapepper: a shapely bell pepper skirt with a scotch bonnet off-the-shoulder top. It’s enough to make your eyes water.

Pepper tiara and radish shoes are model’s own.

I hope you enjoyed looking at these as much as I enjoyed creating them. If you want to see more of my work please take a look at my portfolio.
